Pyrenean Loubet

The
« Loubet del Bayle » originally came from
the upper valley of the Salat in the Central Pyrenean
mountains. We can find the word « loup »
(Wolf) in the name. As a matter of fact, historically,
the Loubet were wolves hunters. This explains my typographic
mark: an Occitan wolf in the style of the lion of
the Metro-Goldwin-Mayer.
Massat

We find tracks of the « Loubet del Bayle »
(et those of their cousins « Loubet »)
in the small village of Massat.
This village is overhanged by an hamlet named «
Bayles ». These are some pictures of Massat
in the beginning of the 20th century.
